JAMES comments :
“Was it good? Super route, Carl was very laid back, and everyone did their own thing, even to widely varying routes sometimes. I do remember we ended up two missing on a campsite one side of the Meuse whilst the main road was on the other side, and Carl asked me to go and stand the other side of the bridge to guide the missing pair in. Some hours later it got dark, and I went back to find that they had come a different way, and Carl had forgotten about me ! It certainly left me some memories as it was my first venture into continental Europe. The route was easy for me as in the UK I was used to 100+ miles per day.”!
